There are times in life when moderation is called for, and then there are those times when you’re eating at an Ethiopian restaurant. A big group of folks went up to “Taste of Ethiopia” in Pflugerville. All the meals were served on giant platters lined with injera bread, with scoops of spicy bits and greens dabbed throughout.
I ordered what was essentially chunks of raw beef swimming in spicy melted butter. It was delicious and plentiful.
It was hard to walk out of the place my belly was so full.
